Apprenticeship West Alabama is a partnership between education, business & industry, and the regional workforce development system (West Alabama Works) to build a workforce pipeline that will create opportunity and a better future for everyone. With a current shortfall of more than 5,000 qualified trained workers in our region, and the expectation that the gap will increase to more than 20,000 by 2030, Apprenticeship West Alabama is committed to leading our region to innovative and cost-effective solutions that will strengthen our educational and workforce systems, while enhancing the bottom line for business & industry.
